In 2020, the City of Vienna decided to open its newest international office in the German capital. The long-standing cordial connections between Vienna and Berlin are thus further deepened, and activities of the municipal governments to districts are strengthened. Key objectives include the continuous expansion of the existing network of contacts and the creation of a framework for new dialogues and partnerships. The exchange on common challenges should thus be supported and impulses for proposed solutions should be set. In this context, the accompanying media work is of crucial importance in order to arouse interest in inter-city issues at the municipal level, to inform a broader public and thus also to strengthen Vienna as an international location.
